When should I start shopping?

We recommend beginning your dress shopping 10 to 12 months before your wedding. Gowns can take up to six to eight months to arrive, and you'll want to allow an additional two to three months for alterations.

If your wedding is just a few months away, some of our designers offer rush order options, or you can choose a gown from our sample rack and take it home the same day!

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, to ensure the best bridal experience at Ellie Stone Bride, we highly recommend booking your appointment in advance. This allows us to provide a personalized experience tailored just for you!

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is a special event where we feature a specific designer's collection for a limited time. It’s a great opportunity if you love a particular designer’s style, as we bring in additional gowns that aren't usually available in our store!

What products do you offer?

We offer a selection of bridal gowns, tuxedos, veils, and accessories to complete your wedding look.

We also offer in-house alterations, press & steam, and preservation services!

What is the price range of your gowns?

Our bridal gowns range in price from $1,200 to $4,200. For a more budget-friendly option, our exclusive private line, Uptown Gabby, offers beautiful gowns all priced under $1,500.

What sizes do you carry in store?

Since we carry one sample size per style, we do our best to accommodate as many brides as possible. Our sample sizes typically range from bridal size 6 to 28, which generally corresponds to street sizes 4 to 26. Depending on the designer, gowns can be ordered up to a size 30. While the sample may not fit perfectly, we have plenty of tricks to help you get a clear vision of how the gown will look on your big day!

How many people should I bring? Can I bring children?

Each of our brides is provided with a private suite to enjoy with their entourage. Due to limited space, we suggest bringing 1 to 5 guests whose opinions you truly value—those closest to you who will support and celebrate your vision.

We kindly ask that children under the age of 10 not attend appointments.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

We recommend bringing nude or white undergarments similar in style to what you plan to wear on your wedding day to help you get the best idea of how the gown will look and feel. If you already have specific jewelry picked out for your big day, feel free to bring it along so you can see how it complements your dress during your appointment.

Do you offer in-house alterations?

Yes! Alterations are by appointment only and are priced separately from your wedding gown. We offer alteration services for gowns purchased at Ellie Stone Bride as well as for gowns and women’s formal wear bought elsewhere (dependent on availability).

Alterations are typically scheduled 2 to 3 months before your wedding date.

Can I return or exchange my dress?

All sales are final. We do not allow returns or exchanges.
