When should I start shopping?

We recommend that you start dress shopping 10 - 12 months before your wedding. Wedding dresses can take up to 6-8 months to arrive and alterations take 2 months.

If your wedding is a few months away, some of our designers give the option to rush order a dress or you can purchase from our sample rack, where you are able to take your dress home that day!

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. In order to get the best bridal experience at Ellie Stone Bride, we prefer that appointments are booked ahead. This allows us to give you a unique experience that is tailored to your needs!

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is a showcase of a particular designers collection for a limited time. Trunk shows are great if you love a certain designers aesthetic because we are able to bring in more of the designer’s gowns that we do not typically carry in the store!

What products do you offer?

We sell bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, veils, and accessories.

We also offer in-house alterations, pressing/ steaming, and preservation!

What is the price range of your gowns?

Our gowns are priced anywhere from $1,200 - $3,500. We also have sample racks with dresses ranging from $99 - $1,200.

What sizes do you carry in store?

Because we only carry one size per style, we try to accommodate as many brides as possible. Our sizes typically range from bridal size 6 - 28 which can be a street size 4 - 26. We are able to order up to a size 30 depending on the designer. Although the sample might not fit you like a glove, we have tricks to get it as close as possible so you are able to envision what your gown will look like on your wedding day!

How many people should I bring and can I bring kids?

We suggest bringing 1 - 5 people who’s opinions you value most. They should be your closest friends and family members, we want to help you find your dream gown and sometimes too many opinions can complicate that.

Please do not bring children under 10 years old.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Bring nude or white undergarments that are similar in style to what you plan to wear on your wedding day. We also suggest that if you have specific jewelry that you plan on wearing on your wedding day, bring it with so you are able to envision it with your potential dress.

Do you offer in-house alterations?

Yes!! Alterations are by appointment only and are a separate cost from the price of your wedding gown. We alter Ellie Stone Bride gowns as well as gowns and women’s wear not purchased through Ellie Stone Bride.

Alterations are scheduled 2-3 months before your wedding.

Can I return or exchange my dress?

All sales are final. We do not allow returns or exchanges.
